I see that the anti-gun cabal of the District of Columbia (DC) wants Federal background checks and fingerprinting for all new gun purchases and to do retroactive background checks and fingerprinting for all those to be grandfathered in weapons owners.  Hello idiots up there, I hold a Georgia Weapons License (Formally Concealed Carry Permit, CCP) for which I was fingerprinted and had an extensive background check to secure this license.  Look dufses (If that’s not the plural of dufus it should be), in addition to your trampling the Second Amendment there is a pretty loud discussion about the Tenth Amendment also.  Remember that?  It deals with States Rights.  Something about “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The assumption that a state cannot determine proper gun ownership and use is arrogance personified. Any attempt by the Federal Government to develop a national gun registry will work about as well as the U.S. Post Office and Conrail and be about as secure as the DOJ’s web site. I have been handling firearms of one sort or the other for close to three-quarters of a century now and have not had an occasion to use on another human being.  In addition, my “Dangerous weapon” has never leapt out of the holster and started banging around in all directions looking for innocent victims.  You wimps, weenies and whiney bitchettes need to find something to keep you occupied other than the gathering power at the expense of ‘We The People.’ You have about as much understanding of the subject as Joe Biden does of tying his shoes.  You can’t hold hearings with Hollyweird dumb asses and expect to learn anything about the subject.  See if you can do a little something about the multi-trillion dollar debt that you have run up and leave law abiding citizen who wish to protect themselves from the criminal element alone. A criminal element which is mostly composed of trash that your lack of action has created at our borders.
